This morning, the press picked up some of the data from our analysis of the year 2021, notably on industry dynamics. A full dossier was distributed to our customers yesterday and discussed in a webinar (reserved for our customers and subscribers).
In Les Echos:
" According to a survey by Trendeo based on press reports, a record 87 companies brought business back to France last year. Plant creations were also on the rise, with 176 planned openings, three times more than the number of industrial site closures (56). Zalandoonline shoe retailer Zalando builds a second warehouse, Sanofi to create a center dedicated to messenger RNA, carmaker Stellantis invests in its La Janais site to produce its electric SUV...."
The industrial dynamic is therefore good, but with many question marks (inflation, supply difficulties linked to Russian aggression in Ukraine, etc.) the question is whether this will last, as Alexandre Saubot, for France Industrie and Olivier Lluansi point out in the article
Our latest data was also commented on byAFP, and reported in Fashion Network.
Why? Because in 2021, among the industrial sectors, the leather and footwear industries will lead the way in terms of job creation and redundancy announcements.
